We love our house, but from the start we had visions of updating the master bath. And then the shower door broke. It didn't take long to go from "guess we need a new shower door" to "how about a new shower?" and "let's update this old bathroom!". We soon found ourselves talking to a range of bathroom remodelling companies, from quick, acrylic shower replacement, to high-end designer remodels. We knew we needed custom work, since our shower is an unusual size. We were most impressed by Sean's proposal from Northern Craft Construction. He gave us the most detailed breakdown of the costs involved, and gave us full latitude to select the materials that we liked. Northern Craft has relationships with quality suppliers, and would bring in professionals to do electrical, plumbing, and glass work. They themselves would do all the construction. Sean's presentation of all of these details put us much more at ease than the "black box" flat figure quotes we had received from other companies. We knew what we were going to be getting, and so we happily contracted them to do the work. Fast forward to the completion of the job, and we are completely happy with the finished product. Everything is the way we wanted it. Every single person that entered our home to contribute to the project knew precisely what they were doing. There were never any surprises. In fact, I can say that it would be impossible for us to be any more happy with our new bathroom!

Sean came out for a quote and gave us great info on how to plan a project. He was very kind to our family and walked us through the company’s processes.

It has been a rough transition moving my in-laws in with us this past year and Northern Craft helped us get them more comfortable in their new space. The process was easy enough for late 70's parents to understand and see what they were looking forward to. Wasn't quite the 10 days as promised because it was a lower level area, and plumbing was tricky but they kept in contact with any delays and transparent through the whole process. Keeping this short and to the point. My tenant had a moving company help them move out. During that move the company caused all sorts of damage to my stairwell (both walls, stair carpet, door frame, and ceiling), the carpet at the base of the steps, and the flooring at the top of the step (in the kitchen). I reached out to Bruce Northerncraft at Northern Craft Construction due to the recommendation of a couple friends. It took only a few moments to setup a time to meet. Bruce arrived 5 minutes before the time we scheduled (Perfect!). He was able to identify exactly what I was looking for with the repairs and get all of the information needed in less than 30 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient during the entire process. I received a full estimate/write-up the very next morning as promised. He and his crew were flexible and willing to work with my schedule to get access to the home as well as complete the job, not just on time, but 2 days earlier than expected. During the repairs, I stopped by the house to take care of a few other things that I needed to and found that the work space and surrounding areas were properly protected (ram boards on the floor) and that the space was kept very clean. If I didn’t see the changes/progress being made on the job, I would have been unsure if any work was actually being performed due to how neat and clean they kept everything (cleaning up at the end of every work day and actively containing any mess that would be generated from the work). I did not have to ask for updates on the progress of the job as they kept me in the loop. I also didn’t have to re-explain any of my requirements for the job. When the job was complete, it looked AMAZING! They exceeded my expectations! They also didn’t have any cost overruns as the exact price I was quoted for was exactly what I paid. All around, they did an amazing job and really raised the bar for what I expect out of home improvement companies.

We had our wall removed between our kitchen and dining room in our split foyer home. Its looks amazing! Bruce and his crew were clean, friendly, and professional. The ceiling was leveled, and the hardwood floors match great. Great price, also. Bruce was even able to match our crown molding.

Northern Craft construction Partially finished our basement, adding a bathroom and an office space. It was completed in a fair timeframe considering the state of the county's permitting office and available materials during the covid lockdown. Any complaints were also handled in a timely manner. It was good doing business with Bruce.

I had Bruce at Northern Craft remodel my home from top to bottom in 1999. New kitchen, moved the laundry room, new roofs, siding, windows, all new exterior doors, match the existing hardwood floors, and an enclosed porch. We couldn’t have been happier with the results. It has now been close to 16 years and all the craftsmanship has held up well.

Great professional job. We had a number of projects to do around the house we recently bought and I was referred to Northern Craft. They did not disappoint. We added a bathroom, replaced all of the windows, replaced some rotted patio doors and floor and the work was professionally done in a reasonable period of time. What I liked the most is the communication. There was communication from the project manager, Lane Belcher, pretty much every day – letting us know what they were planning to do that day, or that they could not make it because of the weather. We always knew what was going on. Anyway, a highly recommended contractor. They know what they are doing and they will do a professional job for you.
