Remodeling Photo Album: Bathroom Remodel in Edgewater, MD
This bathroom started as a narrow shotgun-style layout with a pedestal sink, toilet, tub/shower, and a utility closet that was mostly taken up by ductwork.
The original layout did not give the homeowner much storage or usable space.
We redesigned the bathroom by moving the tub to the back wall, adding a second vanity, and relocating the toilet to the old utility closet area. To deal with the existing ductwork, we built false cabinetry that hides the mechanicals while still giving the homeowner usable storage for linens, toilet paper, and other bathroom items.
The final design gave the bathroom a much better layout, more function, and a cleaner look.
This Edgewater bathroom remodel features blue Italian tile, brushed gold fixtures, a recessed shower niche, two vanities, and a custom glass shower door that opens like French doors.
A great example of how the right layout can completely change the way a bathroom looks and works.
