Challenge

The posts supporting this deck were pressure-treated wood barred in the ground, and after about 10 years they start to rot out.

Solution

To help save the structure of the deck we went in and cut the deck posts at ground level and filled the holes with concrete to give the wooden posts a concrete platform to sit on and prolong rotting.

The final product. The family will have their deck a lot longer now that the posts have a base to sit on.
